....a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a niece, an aunt, a friend, an optimist, a dreamer, a not so organized achiever, an entertainer, a writer, a cook....
....loves a guy named Carmen, 2 smart, fun and extremely talented kids named Vince & Toni, girlfriends, little bars, parties, wine, gin martinis--up with a twist, shoes, clothes, hats, earrings, rings, all things red, junk, sneaking a smoke, pedicures, colorful places and rock & roll.....
And, she had Lapband Surgery on August 10, 2007.......
Yes, I'm beanieless. But, I'm not shoeless.
I can certainly travel my journey without my beanie (no more "beanie hair"!).
But not without my shoes.
And so, I continue.....
You are too, too funny. You're pictures tell half the story.
I fessed up about the bronze medal.
The "Plumber" is a guy I go out with from time to time who happens to be a plumber. Nothing serious. Just someone to hang out with. His long time girlfriend passed away a few years ago. So we're both in the same boat. No big romance, but it's nice to have someone around once in a while.
Judi, Thanks for the nice note to mom and I. You made our day (again!). Thanks to my Lapband (and YOU) I am loving my new "thinner" life. Mom is getting adjusted to her new life on her own. Ending THIS SUMMER will be hard for both has done us good. Me as a newly thin person and mom as a newly single woman and the 2 of living together (part time!) for the first time in 8 years! Also, Woo-hoo to your winners! You really are a special, special person who is also very creative and funny. I read the tribute your friend Daffodil did to you. You have touched so many lives. No one will ever know how many (not even you!). I hope your family and friends know what a gift they have in you! Please make good on your promise to come to NYC with Toni next year. I want to be your host! How did your appt go? love, Babs
