I'm going to sing..... (along with this guy....)
Music and lyrics.....saving me once more. They never fail to touch me in a very deep place.....where not much else goes. The perfect words and the perfect melody...at the perfect moment. That's what songs are to me.
As I close my eyes to listen, I am spoken to.....
P. S.---Believe me, I am not pushing for anyone to vote for Adam Lambert. But, I just have to tell you--the night I watched him perform this song--it did something to me. As it does each time I hear it.

Adam deserves to win because he is the BEST singer. I totally and completely agree with you. But, I do think that Allison should have come in second. . . not voted off before Danny or Kris. Not fair, not fair!!

That is a beautiful song and he has a glorious voice. I don't get American Idol here....only our Aussie one...but they do seem to unearth some amazing talent!!
I loved the story of your Dad saying about your lapband:) It is so wonderful that he is so proud of you and your achievements.....that will never be taken from you. All those special moments live on.....
