I'm a wino (red) at heart. But my fun girlie drink is an amaretto cranberry cocktail. I'm not sure of the recipe exactly. I put a couple of shots of amaretto, couple shots of vodka, and fill the rest of the (BIG) glass with cranberry cocktail and lots of ice. YUM!!

Can I have two? I don't drink 'em together, it's one or the other and one week it's the one and the next week it's the other.

The one is a good Shiraz.

The other is a good vodka martini (not dirty) with olives. My hubby makes the best!

It really depends on my mood. Margaritas are my favorite summer drink. I like hurricanes when I'm on vacation. Cosmos are my girl's night out drink. I do like a dirty vodka martini when out at a fancy restaurant. There is this one restaurant that makes awesome homemade sangria so I have to have it when I go there. Ummm, gotta go make myself a drink now.

How come you make every season sound so damn enticing? How come I live on the other side of the world and am coming into spring/summer??? I must go back 6months and read your blogs from then so I feel remotely into it! BTW I'll take any piss I can get but vodka and soda for summer and I nice red for winter. Full stop.

I'm from Maryland so there will always be beer with crabs, but my long time favorite is Bombay Sapphire Gin and Tonic with extra lime - though I haven't tried anything with carbonation since the surgery - I heard I should wait or not do it at all and since there are so many other wonderful choices....

My new favorite is cranberry juice, vodka, and OJ (a madras) but with a splash of peach schnapps. It's out of the world and I'm not usually much for sweet drinks.

Good drinking!

There is NOTHING better than a Champagne drunk on a Sunday afternoon. (NOT Asti, but real, expensive champagne)
Veuve Clicquot, to be exact.
My crazy Aunts drink it by the case!
I usually have an afternoon champagne party, I'm due for one soon. I'll let you know.

I've been crazy busy, so I have to catch up on all your blog posts.
My nephews wedding is this weekend, so I'll finally have my life back!
