This happens alot this time of year. High School sweethearts go off to college. After the first month away, the boys find a whole new crop girls (away from home-no rules)from which to choose.
Awww Judi...sorry to hear someone broke her heart. Let's see...you could give her the "there are plenty of fish in the sea" crap my Mom fed me...or...don't worry you'll get over him. Sorry...I'm not very good at this.

Judi....you know my youngest was crushed when his high school sweetheart of 3 years broke up with him.....it was an awful time but since then he's had three more girl friends and is with the one he wants to marry now. So much for the 1st girl friend!
Unfortunately she will only hear the stories from her friends. The ones that have had their heart broken too. She needs a whole makeover to feel better and for her to see what he's missing out on. She can give herself three days of tears and that's all he gets. After that is "watch out world here I come". Who needs him anyway!
